Coin Wrappers

Coin wrappersCoin Wrappers are going to be important for your vending business.

When I started out I didn’t use wrappers, I would take my 300 or 400 dollars and go to the local grocery store and have coin star count my quarters for me.

I would lose money, but it was very quick, and I was happy.

When I started to make a little more money I invested in a coin counter and started wrapping my quarters, and going to the bank to deposit them.

Banks won’t take unwrapped coins

Most banks won’t take unwrap coins, well at least Bank Of America I am sure of.

You need to use wrappers to put your quarters in.

Believe it or not they’re a lot of wrappers out there. So make sure you use a wrapper that your bank will accept.

The kind of wrapper I like to use is the kind that is preformed and crimpted on one side.

This saves me a lot of time and then I just use my coin counter to fill them up.

Where to find them

The best places to find these wrappers are on ebay, which you can get a great deal on a lot of them.

Another place is staples.com, and they will guarantee that their wrappers will work with your bank.

They don’t cost much 5 or 10 dollars at the most so go ahead and try to find a deal on ebay or craigslist.

I would start with the preformed ones first unless you are already good at wrapping coins.
